Black Goldstone in gold and silver
Many people are under the mistaken impression that goldstone is a naturally occurring mineral. it is actually a type of glass, mixed with copper oxides, discovered by monks during the middle ages when alchemy was popular. At the time, goldstone was always copper in color, but now it comes in a greater variety. This particular piece is sold as "green", but it is really black unless you have it under a very strong light. The sparkles do have a little bit of a green flash however. This piece would look equally at home with a silver or gold chain, as it was wrapped with both, and the subtle twisted wire and elegant curves make this a perfect statement piece. The open bail would also fit over a string of pearls as an enhancer. 3 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.
You thought green was the color of envy, but when you wear this you will know the color is purple. This lovely faceted amethyst is 10.5 carats, and wrapped in 14K gold filled wire. This stone has more than one shade of purple in it, so it shows incredible depth. Pendant is 3 inches long and has an open bail to accommodate almost any chain. Very elegant and feminine!

Abalone in Sterling
Abalone is supposed to give a person a connection to the sea and the tides of emotion, This pendant features abalone collected from the channel Islands off the coast of Southern California. I have treated it with resin to make it stable (abalone is fragile after being cut) it is framed in sterling silver, and has a large closed bale to accommodate a thick chain/clasp, or even a small strand of pearls. size is roughly 3 inches long by 1.25 inches wide
This is an incredible stone, no matter which direction you turn it, it is catching the light and shining back different shades of color. This is a large stone, roughly 1 inch square, and it has a lovely swirly sterling silver setting. This pendant has won awards at local competitions! Measures roughly 1.75" wide by 2.6" long. closed bail, but will accommodate a substantial chain.
Prasiolite in Sterling
Prasiolite is a member of the same family as amethyst. It's pale green color and clarity is said to create a spiritual link with nature. The stone represented here in this pendant is 10x14 millimeters. Weighing about 4 carats, this cushion cut stone is set in a lovely sterling silver setting. It has a long, open bail in the back, the length makes it very secure, but it can be switched easily from one chain to another, or used as an enhancer to a string of pearls or other beads. 2.3 inches in total length
Oval cut Blue Topaz in Sterling
This lovely blue topaz is about 5 carats. The sterling silver swirls are dainty and complimentary and they give the stone a romantic feel. The pendant is 2.3 inches in length, 1.4 inches in width, and it has and open bail for easily changing it from one necklace to another.
Lavender Amethyst Statement pendant
February's birthstone, Amethyst, is said to be a stone of relaxation, and calming energy. This pendant features three lavender amethysts, in a setting of sterling silver, with accents of gold filled wire. This pendant may have calming energy, but it's screaming to be noticed! It features three different sizes of round amethysts, each with a different cut. Closed bail is ,5 inches long and ,25 inches thick to accommodate the clasp on most chains or small strings of pearls. Pendant is 3.6 inches long.
Ametrine in sterling
According to folklore, the fusion of amethyst and citrine are supposed to help a person let go of stress and find more inner peace and harmony. This stone, which looks purple at first glance, has a zoning of yellow and peach at the side of the stone, which was mined in Bolivia. Wrapped with an open bail, this pendant could easily be combined with a necklace of small amethyst or citrine beads, as well as a regular sterling chain. It is almost 3 inches long, an about an inch and a half wide. Sterling Silver.
Boldly Elegant Smoky Quartz
Smoky quartz is supposed to deflect negative energy in the wearer. At only 2 inches long, this isn't one of my larger pendants, but it is one of the biggest stones. This gem is about 23 carats, and has incredible clarity. I tried to keep the wire to a minimum and let the stone do all the showing off with this one! Sterling silver, open bail.
Aquamarine, the birthstone of March, is said to protect sailors and people who work around water. This one is roughly 13 carats, and has lovely color, cut and clarity that is rarely seen in this type of natural stone. The entire pedant is about 2.4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, made in gold filled wire. it has a closed bail, but it is meant to be able to slide over an omega chain or any large, flat chain.
Single Almandine Garnet
Garnets are supposedly a stone of healing, strength and protection. They are the birthstone for January, but contrary to what you may find at some of the "chain" jewelry stores, they are not always red! although this one is an almondine garnet (which is red) they come in every color except blue. poorly cut garnets in any color can look black, but this one has a lovely cut an ruby-like color. stone is about 4-5 carats. 2 inches long, roughly 1.5 inches wide.
